	10:58pm JakeGould: Well, will be 100% honest here as a teenager in the 1980s who served Knishes, Cherry Lime Rickeys, Buttermilk and Sanka (many times all the same order!) while listing to the Police on my Sanyo walkman knock off… Gem Spa was a very light shadow of what it once was. It used to be every corner store owned by a Jew in NYC served egg creams and related stuff… That slowly faded away in the 1980s and is gone now. I appreciate their desire to keep the history alive but it never felt right in recent years.

	10:58pm JakeGould: Well, will be 100% honest here as a teenager in the 1980s who served Knishes, Cherry Lime Rickeys, Buttermilk and Sanka (many times all the same order!) while listing to the Police on my Sanyo walkman knock off… Gem Spa was a very light shadow of what it once was. It used to be every corner store owned by a Jew in NYC served egg creams and related stuff… That slowly faded away in the 1980s and is gone now. I appreciate their desire to keep the history alive but it never felt right in recent years.
