The rent is too damn high! I wonder if this whole crisis will make real estate developers rethink the mentality of abandoning studio and 1 bedroom apartments. They disappeared as real estate in NYC shifted to larger apartments for families. That said I doubt those greedy vultures would change. But still, I look at places in parts of Brooklyn that are not trendy and I think something can work.

	1:57pm JakeGould: If anyone wants a reality check about normalcy, the earliest this world will get back to true normal might be 18 months to 2 years from now when a true vaccine exists. Until then there will always be some way of distancing and protecting others. Also, unemployment in the U.S. is at 14% and if you factor in people who can’t apply for unemployment or are not actively looking for work, that number is around 20%. Sorry but this world has changed.

They disappeared as real estate in NYC shifted to larger apartments for families. That said I doubt those greedy vultures would change. But still, I look at places in parts of Brooklyn that are not trendy and I think something can work.

Until then there will always be some way of distancing and protecting others. Also, unemployment in the U.S. is at 14% and if you factor in people who can’t apply for unemployment or are not actively looking for work, that number is around 20%. Sorry but this world has changed.
