I always thought she was saying “but not a sweet lady.” Only the Space-Age miracle of the internet clued me to the actual lyrics “Banana Split lady.” Quite the posh accent there, Sioouxsie.

Jan Duggyburg:

Hi Sonderangebot, Franco, MB and Mr. Fab!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:23pm
Franco Twinkie:

Otis, did you ever go to Camp Snoopy?
Avatar 12:25pm
Otis Fodder:

No, I never did. What is Camp Snoopy?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm
Franco Twinkie:

In the early '80's they gave Knott's berry Farm a spruce up, and Camp Snoopy was a pathetic park within the park area for the kids. I only went there once, but I remember getting really high in the parking lot and just been a nuisance to everybody. That was the last time I went to Knotts's Berry Farm.
Avatar 12:36pm
Otis Fodder:

Ha, oh no. I could have visited but I have no memory of that. Sounds terrible. haaa
Avatar 12:36pm
Mr Fab:

Knott’s was too far away for most of us Valley dudes/girls. Magic Mountain was our jam, esp. thanks to KROQ bringing in the likes of Sparks, Nina Hagen, Suburban Lawns, etc. to play shows there. Take that, Mouse!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm

Fab, Chresti was an extra in Roller Coaster which was filmed at Magic Mountain. Sparks played live in the movie. Were you there?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm

I love old electro. If it wasn't for The Current Situtation I would have been in Detroit in two weeks for the big Memorial Day techno festival, which I missed last year. Sigh.
Avatar 12:44pm

Oh god, detroit electro festival. Wow, I would love to go to that one day. Nothing like that classic sound.
