i once said something along the lines of Little Richard had about 15 great songs and ...please forgive me if it was here or on cool blue flame but i think it was Larry Grogan said oh no you haven't heard enough Little Richard then, and said he'd do a dedicated show. if he did that i missed it.

- i have a Little Richard comp and that's the number of songs on it that i don't dislike.
(i have no interest in hearing "when the saints go marching in" or by the light of the silvery moon...etc)

one thing i've said for most of my days is that, despite being into Chuck Berry since childhood and thusly correcting anyone who called Elvis Presley "the king of rock and roll", once i got into Little Richard (even by those aforementioned 15 songs only) he may've been "the king"!
he certainly took it to the next level.
