My roommate has no interest in interacting with me. It's a real bummer. I know she's stressed out, but man. She doesn't even look at me when I come into the kitchen for something and say Good Morning. I'd be less loney if I lived alone.

But... silver lining.... it's pressed me to get my personal space to be a nicer place to spend time. I fixed up my attic crawlspace loft above my bedroom! I sealed the brick and got joint compound for the seams, and painted it and got colored lights for it, and then stuck my good speakers up there so I can BLAST music with amazing bass and not bother my neighbors!!! I have a proper secret villain lair now!

I read this thing on facebook or instagram or something.... some buddhist lesson in conversation about isolation. I found it really wonderful, and was amused to realize I've been going through the steps outlined without realizing it!
