So many say - "I don't have the face/head for a shaved head. I try to convince them to give a try to no success. It’s no longer the city I knew then but I’ve been close to it all my life. Like growing up with a tiger. I’m comfortable with it. I know what I can and can not do. In spite of my familiarity, the city, like a tiger is still a risk. I’m pleased that you’d go, but don’t go there expecting kittens.

	♥ 7:27am queems: @lix thank you! yes, that's why i asked. i mostly just want to find routes through paterson that i can walk that will get me to other places. paterson covers the entire top of clifton, which means my routes to all points north are essentially blocked off unless i know which sections are safe to walk through. i've only briefly dipped into the part where hazel st. meets broad st. and the part near woodland park where you cross into totowa.

	♥ 7:31am queems: @lix my dad was born and raised in clifton and told me to stay out of paterson and passaic, full stop. when i lived in the city i was comfortable taking risks because i knew which neighborhoods to tread carefully and which to avoid completely. but i've only lived in passaic county for 3 years, and it is harder to find information about where to go and where not to go. the same goes for passaic, but i've spent a little more time testing those limits. there are places where i feel comfortable, places where i'm on edge, and places where i feel like i need to gtfo asap.

Just remember where you are. Its just the way it is.

It’s no longer the city I knew then but I’ve been close to it all my life. Like growing up with a tiger. I’m comfortable with it. I know what I can and can not do. 	♥ 7:31am queems: @lix my dad was born and raised in clifton and told me to stay out of paterson and passaic, full stop. when i lived in the city i was comfortable taking risks because i knew which neighborhoods to tread carefully and which to avoid completely. but i've only lived in passaic county for 3 years, and it is harder to find information about where to go and where not to go. the same goes for passaic, but i've spent a little more time testing those limits. there are places where i feel comfortable, places where i'm on edge, and places where i feel like i need to gtfo asap.
