Scratchy vanity 45s, pilfered field recordings, muddy off-the-radio sounds, homemade congregational tapes and vintage commercial gospel throw-downs; a little preachin', a little salvation, a little audio tomfoolery.

Also, I’m personally dedicating the good feels of this show to my mom who passed away 27 years ago. Spent her teenage years on the run from Nazis and related war time a-holes. Met my dad in the literal rubble of Poland; he was a soldier in they reformed Polish Army in the west and she was wandering to find any news/help/hope.

She was shoved onto a cattle car in 1939. And when she had a chance she said “Eff this…” jumped off the train and ran into the woods. Literally twisted her ankle from the fall but still survived.

On the Yazoo:
My wife comes in talking about her explorer driving funny.. Sure nuf. A ball joint had worked it's way up and out of the upper control arm.. With the aid of my trusty crow bars, I was able to reinsert the ball joint.. I drove it around the block and it had worked itself out about half way.. It easily popped back in. So I found a hose clamp and clamped it in place so It couldn't move. I even tested it on a nearby dangerously bumpy road. Didn't budge.. Fixed !! all but the torn boot. So, I'm still gonna have to replace it sooner than later,
