It’s been relatively quiet here as well. The police have been allowing the protesters to march wherever they want and there hasn’t really been much property damage. The protesters took over the interstate this evening and there was no attempt to stop them. I guess it helps that there’s far less people on the road.

In an insane society, the sane man must appear insane.

Hey that’s pretty good. Where’d you hear that?

Star Trek.

God, I miss that show.

@Bri: There is Kevin Ayer's "Colores de Delores" (which features who's who of everyone in the Brit folk/free jazz/experinental/electronic scen in the 60s that goes:

"White is the color of night
When there's nobody there,
And you sit in your chair,
Getting drunk on despair.

Red is the color it's said
That can drive you insane
With pleasure or pain
It depends on your head.

Brown is the color of skin
That I'd like to be in,
'Cause it doesn't feel right
To be colored so white.

Blue is the color of sky
And I won't even try
To explain how or why,
I'll just show you the sky
Just show you the sky"
