Thank you Mr. Fine Wine! And as a pre-emptive measure against some of the listeners here that would think what was just said was “polarizing” one can pledge to the station and this show right here: pledge.wfmu.org
Sometimes you have to state the obvious. If people complain about the polarizing, then they are part of the problem. Thanks, MFW.

Hiya Mr Fine Wine, hi everyone. Agree with your editorial comments - well said. Appreciate you & your show (and so many others) and this station so much.
That was abrupt. I thought I had lost my connection for a sec.

Now this is a first: Mr FW makes a statement. I believe you have a standing policy of 100% music, 0% politix/editorial. I certainly understand that and follow that myself in many venues. However, you were PUSHED TO IT, and that is saying a lot about the situation. Can not agree more about the sentiments: Why did people get beaten and killed 50 years ago for constitutional rights just so we can repeat that struggle today? Respect the law, everyone, and that starts with the White House, folks. BTW: 52 years ago a progressive presidential candidate who supported rights for all was shot for his efforts. Keep on pushing. Open up the door, baby. Pontification off: great show already, keep it up M'man.

Yes, Paul and Jake, he just had to do it. I was equally shocked. The contribution was easy.
Is this the most recent track you’ve ever played on this show?

Paul in the OC:
If'n ya need some gloam, you and the lady are always welcome in the OC--we've got that here, also enough space to keep distant. BBW optional but recommended.
Speaking of causes, for Bandcamp Friday, Slum of Legs are donating all their proceeds to UK Black Lives Matter and Sauna Youth, who have a second odds and ends collection available today, to "UK QTIBIPOC Emergency Relief Fund for Queer, Trans & Intersex, Black, Indigenous People of Colour living in the UK"
I do a community radio show in my city. I am doing a Curtis Mayfield tribute show for his b day this last Wednesday for my show tonight. Happy B-day Curtis!
