Vasilis Kostas: The Soul of Epirus: Music From Northwestern Greece
Vasilis Kostas, originally from Epirus, Greece, is a standout player of the laouto - lute. His collaborative album with clarinet virtuoso Petroloukas Halkias, The Soul of Epirus, received great reviews. He also explores Greek traditions in Boston-based Pharos Ensemble, and channels his other musical love, jazz, as a member of Global Messengers, the multicultural outfit led by pianist Danilo Pérez. Tune in to hear - and hear about - the music. Plus Vasilis spins a guest-DJ set!

I wish every protest was positive but I saw this eye-opening news about the continued negative power of social media: www.nbcnews.com...
The part where they declare victory because the "buses of antifa" never showed up is just... wow.

The reason I feel the need to clear that up is stuff like that is never “kids” just goofing around. It is a real listener being really entitled.
Now, back to the show.

Seriously, happy you went out there to see things for yourself. Are there still public garbage cans out on the street near you and the march area?
They removed garbage cans in Brooklyn as deep as Gravesend I believe. Like anyone would go out there to riot for any reason.

never saw them myself, but the ex's younger brother did, and he said the same thing -- the lead singer was totally affected, drinking "whiskey" (black tea!) straight out of a bottle, etc.
