	🎸 ♥ 6:37pm Rich in Washington: yeah, counterfeit blank CDs. Pretty crazy. They seem to work pretty good. I don't think I've ever had one just suddenly rot but who knows?

	6:42pm Photocopy Cha Cha: Ahoy Rich, Don-O, Mr. Fab and other cd-r's! Dunno if I am lucky or not but my cd-r's are old, many of them 20 years or even more and stiull working. Many a hard drive I have lost into the digital nothingness on the other hand, some even before the two year EU warranty was over.

	🎸 ♥ 6:45pm Rich in Washington: I should really rethink my reliance on CDs and CDRs, though. My CD decks are rather ancient radio station type CD players and getting a bit finicky, but otherwise reliable. (knocks on simulated woodgrain).

Two years ago I bought them (the only brand that was available here in the sticks at the time), even by trying different pc's/burners only 10% could be burned AND played. And a few plays later, gone.

	🎸 ♥ 6:51pm Rich in Washington: There used to be this cheesy souvenir shop on the Oregon coast known for its stupid cedar gifts, hilarious out-of-date novelty T-shirts and huge file boxes of stupid generic bumperstickers with sayings that went out like 25 years ago. I bought almost all of their 'Are You Live Or Are You Memorex?' stickers and was giving them out to people for many years. I gave a bunch to Negativland.
