Yeah I wish I'd paid more attention when I was a kid. So many NOLA legends were alive and kicking, playing at little tiny places, local events, etc. Took them too much for granted.

I lived there 20 yrs. and went to lots of music. Toussaint would cruise by DBA in his Mercedes on Frenchman...listen for a sec and either come in or drive off. Same w Dr John when he lived there. Winton would pop into Vaughn’s and sit in w Kermit. It’s that kinda place!
