Hi Michael, my husband and I went to the dentist for a way overdue routine cleaning yesterday. They really did have a lot of precautions - disposable plastic liners on the chairs, temperature check, paper & pen questionnaire about symptoms, the hygienist and doctor all wore gloves, face masks, and face shields. We are in Chicago which has had a much easier time than the NY/NJ area, but we really think it was okay and there wouldn't have been any chance of transmission.

@Dean, so my parents and a serial killer shared a fondness for the place. Weird!
  12:13pm
Dean:

And here are the first few paras of a story in the Hackensack Record, Sept. 2, 1994:

The two-story restaurant on Anderson Avenue in Cliffside Park has had more lives than some cats.

Once upon a time it was ORDB's, as in Over Rose's Dead Body (Rose was the restaurateur's wife, who apparently wasn't sold on the business). In the late Seventies, the Esposito family arrived and opened Villa Amalfi, which later moved to glitzier digs on Palisade Avenue. Where the old Amalfi stood, the Espositos opened Posillipo, a casual place with red-and-white checked tablecloths, pizza, and powerful pina coladas.

Two and a half years ago, the Espositos decided there were enough pasta emporiums out there. They changed the menu, redecorated, and became the Cliffhouse Grill, a steakhouse with continental aspirations and an assured way with seafood. It's a welcome addition to the North Jersey dining scene.
