i met Mr. Cave at a book signing at Tower Books in the 90s (before i was working there) -- super sweet guy -- unfortunately the friend i was with decided to kinda flirt with him -- "oooo I am a writer too!" etc. she cooed -- and i just wanted to go disappear somehwere, hah!
