Never prepared for it or want it to happen again. Two Kitty Kats here at 15 and 6. Have had dogs, cats, birds, fish, bunnies and ducks in my life. Would love a little piggy one day, if I move out of the city or have a proper backyard.

My kitty Lil' Grrrl was a rescue kitty, already had a bad bout 3 years back and she almost died, but after weeks of recovery she made it and is doing good since. I will always get a rescue kitty or puppy first. SPCA right after, private.

Our Russian Blue cat, Gertrude, used to leap onto my lap while I did freelance work. In the last years she was rather portly and draped over my knees. Pretty heavy too, but she would purr the whole time. I had to reach over her to draw. It was hilarious and sweet. Still miss her.
