My son's 22 yr old girlfriend listens to classic rock, and I told her I pretty much abhor it (while I was playing The Clash on the CD player). I had to explain to her about there being older music that is worth listening to because it is good, not just because it was old (looking at you, Mellencamp and Seger). Clash = Good, Dave Mathews Band = Lower GI Distress

Speaking of which, while I tend to dislike rock biopics, Sam Riley and Samantha Morton offer the viewer some excellent performances in Corbijn's Control. Has been a while I have seen it though.

Then, after all the morons had cleared out leaving only the freaks, the band came back out and played their regular set.

My son's 22 yr old girlfriend listens to classic rock, and I told her I pretty much abhor it (while I was playing The Clash on the CD player). I had to explain to her about there being older music that is worth listening to because it is good, not just because it was old (looking at you, Mellencamp and Seger). Clash = Good, Dave Mathews Band = Lower GI Distress

Then, after all the morons had cleared out leaving only the freaks, the band came back out and played their regular set.
