My mom and that side of the family are from Honduras (grandfather from Spain on my dad's side), where I spent a good chunk of my childhood.

Ike: They're really Spanish phrases, I've never heard them used by Latin Americans unless they're imitating Spaniards. Would be a bit like an American using "bloody hell" or "bollocks". Coño is also really Spanish but used a lot in the Caribbean, kind of known for being the favorite word of all Cubans. You don't hear it as much in Central America; down there the common expletive is "puta" (ie whore).
