Futile expeditions to the edges of good taste, bad morals, and ugly intententions. Late night drives somewhere between Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle and The White Castle of Fear.
Second Hand Pop, MIDI grunge soundalikes, and uncanny Japanese karaoke.

Fastbacks from 1993, what a tender year!

I wonder how they melt the cheese without accidentally cooking the sushi..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29am mariano:

diciassette: My great-grandmother once microwaved some leftover sushi she found in the fridge, she had no idea what it was.

The story my father tells: "Raw fish eh, I'll just smother it with this green stuff so I don't have to taste it."

once my friend dumpster dived 10 pounds of Sushi from whole foods and we stirred fried it for a freaky fried sushi party

Seat of no pants radio.. \m/ My copy of Madam Butterfly is gray.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:17am Darren:

Is this the weirdest/dumbest major label release of 1984?
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 4:17am VincentNifigance:

I feel as though McLaren was behind a lot of great stuff, but I have a hard time allowing him credit because I dislike him. This is like a Terrible Idea Great Execution. Which means it should be bad but sounds really good.
Avatar 4:18am Bas NL:

It was different.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 4:19am VincentNifigance:

The Puccini is hard to swallow in the context, but the context is nice.

1984. What a year
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 4:47am diciassette:

Hmm ...And His Orchestra is from 1987 (but sounds like 1993). I apologize for that and any other dumb things I've said.

Sleep tight!
  6:09am audiocarp:

I thought that was Nina Simone. Holy crap! I had no idea what a lousy singer she was. This song by GIlbert O' Sullivan always irritated me (and I'm old enough to remember when this was a hit on the radio: 1972). But, this was the first time I actually paid attention to the lyrics. So, the lyrics are deep, but the song structure (with that irritating hook), is horrible and tawdry. It's a really bad fit, Mr. O'Sullivan. I just found out that according to Wikipedia, Nina Simone changed the lyrics somewhat... One final beef: Who the hell names their kid "Gilbert O'Sullivan"?
