Tonight's FLAME-O-SCOPE™. Third time's (hopefully) a charm. Lemme know if you're unable to access a properly functioning playlist page and chat. And also if you video simply isn't working for you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43pm
Little Danny:

Also! Please let me know if there are any stereo/channel issues, I've refreshed my streaming settings to hopefully rectify last week's channel issues

Matt from New Orleans:

For now, it looks like you fixed the bugs with the page rendering properly in mobile browsers. Since the video isn’t streaming yet, I can’t tell if the error I’m getting there is going to go away. It should.

De Roubaix did the soundtrack to one of my favorite films Le Samouraï by Jean-Pierre Melville.   10:54pm
Pete from Melbourne Austarlia:

And yep Operation Paperclip, was the OSS secret operation to smuggle Nazi's that were useful to the US government just after the war, lots of war criminals got new lives, and escaped justice!

in grade school we had a teacher who acquired a length of blank movie film and divided it evenly to the class. Jason watch the original first please. One of the greatest suspense films ever. The Wages of Fear by Henri-George Clouzot. The William Friedkin Sorcerer has its moments but it’s a pimple on the original if I’m being frank.

Sorcerer is a good movie. I had a copy of the soundtrack on 8-track, although I never was able to play it.

Little Danny:

@RR63: I would have to assume so, Jerry seemed like a pretty humble, or at least genial, cat in general
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23pm

Whoa, what an 8-track, I.F.

My mom is friend’s with these guys Danny. I knew the name sounded familiar. She sold Belgian waffles at the Worlds Fair in 65. She met them there.

You're talking about the New Swing Sextet, Matt?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:39pm

Yes. They performed at one of the pavilions there.

That's awesome, Matt. Tell your mom to tell them hello next time they pop up at the World's Fair

Harry Smith prefiguring the San Francisco light shows in a way. There's the great Oil projections - but see in Monterey Pop how they'd project movie bits & things with them as well...

@Matt, it is cool that New Swing Sextet is still going.
