I saw an article saying that monkeys and apes have entered their Stone Age . . I guess they'll be smelting next . . Wondering if they'll invent gunpowder anytime soon . . It is cheating if they get ahold of smart-phones . . But . . They may actually begin to devolve (rapidly) if that happens. Hmmm
. Maybe getting smart-phones to monkeys is a good idea . . They could become a threat to us humans if they continue their evolutionary pace . .

I usually don't pay attention to the R.a.R.Hall of F.: if Milli Vanilli are in there, or any of the kind-of artificial '50s teen idols, then the Monkees would deserve a place. Really. if famous, only unalloyed infamy I think ought to stand in a group's way. They were many people's entré into pop music, and I'll bet there are rock-adjacent pop groups already in the Hall….

Back around 1986 or so on WMBR, I think on their show "The Asylum" someone rapped "Green Eggs and Ham" pretty well. (Once on "The Asylum" a DJ once played "Wake Me Up before You Go" repeatedly for hours, occasionally relieved by "Careless Whisper", every time pre-announcing it as if it were a new song. The song's initial 'Jitterbug', eventually induced terrible laughter from me. )
