	8:55pm Bethany Ryker: When I was just out of high school I spent 8 weeks in Estes Park, CO playing at the Rocky Ridge Music Center (let's call it "music camp"). I've never seen so many stars. Yeah, the sky is darker, but I always thought that being 9000ft CLOSER made a difference, too. Please theorize if you are of the means!

	8:59pm Just Ted: Being at altitude is important for telescopes. Basically the thinner air helps to reduce image blur. Thats why they build observatories on mountains. I don't think its enough to help the human eye. The darkness (lace of light pollution) definitely helps.
