	5:23pm Gina Bacon: It may be hleping a lot this year, since they have so much catching up to do. But our local store, Grimey's, did a lot of mail order and curbside that helped them survive. And supposedly Taylor Swift made a donation to help keep the employees on the payroll and insured. She's a good egg.
	5:23pm Julie P.: This Molly Tuttle cut is lovely. I hear a little echo of Mary Hopkin in her voice.
	5:23pm bigplanetnoise: RSD was designed to - and succeeded in - keeping indie stores afloat in the world of digital downloading. It’s a success story all the way around - for labels and stores. Those that are not interested do not have to participate. There’s no room for grumbling about it.
	🥁 5:24pm Brian in UK: Julie P, well I am right behind that idea. The little stores have people that know what they are talking about, they love music. All the big stores have Rock/Pop as if that is all there is. Mind you we seem to love catagorising music.

	🥁 5:30pm Brian in UK: Julie P, my nearest store is about twenty miles away, not been there since this madness began, the owner does put on gigs once in a while; had Ethan Johns on last year. He has moved from CDs over to records. Still have trouble calling them vinyl.
	5:31pm doctorjazz: Everything is different today, of course. I got notice that I had to renew my NJ drivers license, so I went this morn morning (Saturday hours listed as 9-1 or 9-3, depending at the office). The usual office I use wasn't renewing licences this year, drove a half hour to one that was. Got there, police with sirens were racing in. Turns out they were limiting it to 200 people for the day; someone on line told me he got there 5:30, got number 130, was still waiting to get in 6 hours later. The police were there because some sort of fight broke out inside the Motor Vehicle office. I left (not sure how I'll renew...)

	5:36pm doctorjazz: I'm all in favor of small records stores being supported. But my personal experience on RSD has been fairly unpleasant (maybe it's Joisey). I hope they all do well because of it, but I'm too old for the hassle (and have too much good music piled up to get to) to deal with it..

	6:36pm sufferwords: The Kinmans deserve more praise then they ever got- The Dils were great and before they even wear that out they switch to their Country sound which at the time would be seen as anathema to any ‘punk’- but they weren’t into fashion they were into the true intent of punk- also love how they threw the reggae breakdown into Coyote

	5:31pm doctorjazz: Everything is different today, of course. I got notice that I had to renew my NJ drivers license, so I went this morn morning (Saturday hours listed as 9-1 or 9-3, depending at the office). The usual office I use wasn't renewing licences this year, drove a half hour to one that was. Got there, police with sirens were racing in. Turns out they were limiting it to 200 people for the day; someone on line told me he got there 5:30, got number 130, was still waiting to get in 6 hours later. The police were there because some sort of fight broke out inside the Motor Vehicle office. I left (not sure how I'll renew...)
