She scrutinized the fuck out of my ID and then was barely touching it when she handed it back. It had a San Francisco address on it, she was acting like I gave her AIDS. Last Detail was indeed fantastic. I was especially knocked out by The French Connection as i hadn't watched it in thirty years. Roy Scheider is vastly underrated in general.

	12:02pm clarke: i got hipped to this extremely slow-paced series called Too Old To Die Young -- it is really good, but so 'slow' that i keep falling asleep during it - but it well-done. falling asleep is NOT a bad review for me, these days!

Best of Everything is from '59, the lead ascends the ranks and becomes an editor almost at the expense of her romantic happiness. Robert Evans, Joan Crawford, and Louis Jourdan have supporting roles.
