The Good Times and Le Freak 45s have been on high rotation on home. My 4 year old daughter know how to put on the 45 adapter and set the right speed. (I'm so proud of her!) My 1 year old son spins in place whenver my daughter put on the Chic records.

Daybreak and the New School Order!:

The first part of the second day of teaching has hit the pause point where I travel home in my car to continue the second part of the second day of teaching.

Teaching under these hybrid circumstances is probably one of the most draining things I’ve done in 17 years of teaching.
Thank you to the Dwayne train for providing such uplifting and positive music just as I turn the radio on. I can feel parts of my soul beginning to heal thanks to you.

Thank you for the very kind response Duane.
One of my colleagues that normally lives in NYC is living at a hotel in Parsippany. The hotel had a sign saying there were special rates for essential workers. When he inquired about those rates he was told that teachers are not considered essential workers by the hotel chain.

Due to the fact that his longtime girlfriend is immune compromised, he now comes to school with a white hoodless hazmat suit safety glasses safety mask and gloves on his hands. He is told anyone who asks that he is not doing this for himself he is doing what anyone who wears even a mask is doing: we are doing it for everyone else.

Our TV was in the Big living room that lit up the whole damn house, so if I was up late at night, that got would let everyone know what I was doing..had to be strategic about it
