I use some professional software too that comes in to play in my work as a reissue producer. It is nice getting these songs into the world sounding as good as they can.

Also, mono 45's generally sound good and can be restored easily. A lot of people on YouTube etc, transfer them in stereo and they sound bad.

Beantown Doug...I'm a second generation fan...born in late 1969...I remember my aunt had a mono copy of the debut album which I listened to constantly...I saw the show for the first time in Summer 1976 right after it was syndicated for the first time...I loved it. My Dad and Mom couldn't, and still, don't understand why I'm such a fan...they were teenagers when the show debuted, but they thought they were silly. I got my younger sisters and brother interested in them eventually.
