My main consideration was going to Monterrey, to get cumbia rebajada rekkids. I met my partner there, and she made it happen.

One dance party, the generator started to die, and the cumbia got slower and slower by the dj, as the turntable got slower. Everone loved it, and then djs started to slow down cumbia records, and record them. Then bands started to slow-mo cumbia on purpose, and the rest is history....
