Mike Sin:

@Marc Franics -- Glad to hear that! It's fun for me each week to put it together. Just dump a bunch of LPs, CDs, and singles on the floor and start making connections.

Hi Mike and Matt!

It’s interesting that the album namers left the “n” in the name. I think Ska-tastic sounds much better.

Love this one
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm
Mike Sin:

johnk77 -- That's true! All these rocksteady tracks have all the treble completely rolled off the bass guitar. It does shake the house.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm
Frank In Queens:

You're kilkin' it today, Mike! :))
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm

@johnk77 -- when I was a kid (100 years ago), the LPs featuring Jamaican music that were the easiest to find and most influential in the US were "The Harder They Come" soundtrack and "Funky Kingston" by Toots and the Maytals.
