Tea. And cakes.
Back from the pet-food store. COVID supply disruptions continue if you're looking for the weird dog foods we have to buy since our dog fails at being able to eat the stuff all dog food is made of, like chicken and cow.

...(in order of entry into the soon-to-be-boiling water) thinly sliced carrot, ginger, turmeric if i have some; simmer a few minutes then add celery or bok choy; a slice of onion, chopped -then add the ramen (turn heat off now if it's electric) add a bulbous tablespoon of tahini; "raw" cashew pieces (or whole), a bit of wakame, cayenne powder, a splash of braggs aminos, some good soy sauce (like san-j) fresh parsley.
sometimes a little cilantro, sage, tarragon...

We're two bldgs. over at our neighbors' place, whose cat we're feeding this week. We're sitting in their yard and have let the cat out, and it's doing the PERFECT impression of the Confuse-a-Cat cat. I wish there were someone we could call in the nick of time!

i like the lyons because it has a subtle sweetness to me (and i add honey) and i can leave the bag in and it doesn't get horribly bitter like many teas. just gets stronger.
