Greetings, Jesse and Skeletons and Everyone -- hope all is well with everyone out there in WFMU-land :)
been listening and lurking, trying to get stuff done around here -- enjoying the tunes and vibes immensely -- thank you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:50pm mariano:

Hey jj, Scott, everyone.

Pedantic freebie of the day: "Wine dark sea" is from the Iliad (as is "rosy-fingered dawn").
  10:56pm Chris H:

Hopefully my New Americans vinyl shows up this week
  10:56pm Chris H:

North Americans lol
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:57pm mariano:

For my money, it just doesn't get any better than when he sings "When a Man Loves a Woman." (apologies to John C. McGinley).
Avatar 10:58pm slugluv1313:

holy crap! that is Michael Bolton?!? did i hear right???
Avatar 10:58pm Roberto:

Sometimes WFMU be educational AF.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:59pm jj.:

yup! www.discogs.com...
Avatar 10:59pm slugluv1313:

@mariano -- hah! cringe AND barf inducing!!!
  11:01pm heinseng:

CT high school classmate took guitar lessons from Michael Bolotin in 1970.
Avatar 11:21pm Roberto:

I think Michael Bolton may have brought the comments to a standstill.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23pm jj.:

actually people have been commenting, the name "michael bolton" just broke the back-end. it's like the opposite of a safe-word.
Avatar 11:25pm Roberto:

Sounds legit, jj.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:26pm mariano:

Because of some minor SNL sketch years ago, whenever I hear "safe word" I automatically think "palomino." Same with the word "humanity" - there was a Simpsons episode where the zoo had an area called A Habitat for Huge Manatees, so I can't not think of it whenever I see the word.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:30pm Aitch:

I can't see the word Manatee without thinking of Ted Johnson
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:33pm mariano:

Lol! Haven't seen Red Meat since The Onion ran a print edition, should reacquaint myself.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:46pm Krull Sagan:

Red Meat! Milkman Dan! Mariano, Aitch, slug, Ike, et all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:47pm Krull Sagan:

I always thought the guy with a bolo tie in that comic was Steve buscemi as a priest
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52pm Krull Sagan:

They should have played this song at custody hearings when I was a kid
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:00am mariano:

Hey Krull! Thanks jj and Scott, laters everyone!
Avatar 12:12am slugluv1313:

wonderful show, Jesse -- thanks so much!
