@Mike Sin I believe the story is that Malcolm McLaren wanted the worst band in SF on the bill. Census was that it was Negative Trend. McLaren told Bill Graham that the Sex Pistols wouldn't play unless NT could open for them. A compromise was reached where NT would play after the Pistols. However, after the Pistols set, Graham put on the house lights and everyone left so Negative Trend never got to play.
