Heya Bill! Loving the show, I def listened back in the day too but kept missing the new shows. It sucks cause my damn radio antenna is fucked up and cant get in FMU anymore. I have to get a new one of those wirey kinda ones.

I maced myself when I touched my eye with fingers that have handled hot peppers.

Gwendolyn Macrae:

Uck, so been there! It's almost exhilarating in a way cause you dont expect it and suddenly your face is on fire a bit! Makes you feel alive.
Avatar 3:28am
Bill Zebub:

Gwendolyn, it may be that the digital version of the show is better because you can download it (not super intuitive, but it can be done) and then you can listen whenever you wish. But I love live participation
Avatar 3:31am
Ole 'Rick:

Anyone else here unironically an Alannah Myles fan?
Avatar 3:31am
Gwendolyn Macrae:

Yeah, I def feel that. I love being able to comment here. I just have really crappy built in computer speakers where as my stereo is pretty nice and has big fancy speakers set up all over the room
  3:32am
Laura Trump:

Can someone explain what super intuitive means?
Avatar 3:32am
Gwendolyn Macrae:

Heh, the name Alannah Myles kinda rings a bell but idk...
  3:32am
Laura Trump:

we really can download this show?
Avatar 3:32am
Bill Zebub:

I recommend good headphones - plug into your computer - listen like royalty.
Avatar 3:33am
Gwendolyn Macrae:

True, I could use headphones. I just love being wirefree and hearing the show coming through all around the room.
Avatar 3:33am
sinister dexter:

i run my computer through my stereo
Avatar 3:33am
Bill Zebub:

Yes, downloading is possible after the archive is up. Perhaps JSA can advise. I know a few listeners who have figured it out - just a few steps
Avatar 3:34am
Gwendolyn Macrae:

Yeah! I use to do that too Dexter. Just now my computer is too far from the wire that could hook it up to the stereo
Avatar 3:34am
sinister dexter:

1/8 inch stereo to rca adapter

@laura I think I can sense the meaning but cannot express in words :)

Laura Trump:

i can't figure it out. how can i download? Do i need some kind of software program to do it?
Avatar 3:57am
Gwendolyn Macrae:

Im sure there's some much easier and sensible way to do it but I use to use the program audacity and have it record internal sound to record whatever audio from the computer if it wasn't easy to download.
  3:59am
Laura Trump:

oh
Avatar 4:02am
Gwendolyn Macrae:

Im sorry I wish I had a more clear and helpful answer. Im not exactly sure how to do it myself. Like just easily download it from the site.
Avatar 4:05am

I found my collection of old issues of Grimoire in the attic a few weeks ago! From when they were free near the exit of Vintage.
Avatar 4:07am
sispus:

You can use firefox to download a show. Open the pop-up player of the show in a firefox tab, right click over the page and select "page info" from context menu. In te page info window the "media" tab will contain the link of .mp4 file on amazonaws. For convenience, you can copy this ilnk and open it in another firefox tab. Play it, and right click on the player at the center of the page, download the audio by "save audio as..." Good luck :)
Avatar 4:09am

Avatar 4:17am
