	🍷 ♥ 4:21pm Paper Kosmonaut: I used to have a 'smart' phone for just about three years but I really grew to furiously hate it. A nosey little bastard. All those apps that wanted to have access to my addresses. No way. I now have a dumb phone for 2 years and I love it.

	♥ 4:24pm Rich in Washington: I got mine when I signed up for my carrier, so paid a bit more for an upgraded phone over the rather stripped down one they offered for free and it's actually been a great phone. I think my out-of-pocket was less than 100 USD.

	♥ 4:33pm coelacanth∅: nokias last too long + their cards are transferable. most of the world uses that in cell phones and it should be required by law, but here you're usually locked in to particular company because of your card.

	♥ 4:39pm coelacanth∅: GG my first 3 cell phones were nokias. none of them ever died, even after flying off the roof of a car at 30-40 mph, shattering into pieces and being run over by cars... they just each in turn became unusable because of the pigginess of the phone companies. even when i reluctantly got a flip phone, the 3rd nokia -even that was very rugged and easy to use. ...but the main thing i HATE about almost all phones now is that they're touch-screen.

	🍷 ♥ 4:44pm Paper Kosmonaut: Here in Dutchyland, no one cares what phone you have. If you need a smartphone the company provides you with one you only have to use for your work. And the networks still accept 3G phones like mine. It also works on the 2G network, because I dont use it for interwebs.

	♥ 4:24pm Rich in Washington: I got mine when I signed up for my carrier, so paid a bit more for an upgraded phone over the rather stripped down one they offered for free and it's actually been a great phone. I think my out-of-pocket was less than 100 USD.

	♥ 4:39pm coelacanth∅: GG my first 3 cell phones were nokias. none of them ever died, even after flying off the roof of a car at 30-40 mph, shattering into pieces and being run over by cars... they just each in turn became unusable because of the pigginess of the phone companies. even when i reluctantly got a flip phone, the 3rd nokia -even that was very rugged and easy to use. ...but the main thing i HATE about almost all phones now is that they're touch-screen.
