Hey Todd!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:14pm Aitch:

Donnie Sutherland did a Saturday morning music show on TV in the 70's in Oz, creepy little dude, also an ex-jockey
Avatar 6:15pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Spanning The Globe like Len Berman tonight!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:15pm medson:

Hey Matt and Mike and the rest of the Tuesday night A Listers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:15pm Matt Clarke:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:15pm Matt Clarke:

Hey medson!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:16pm Gaylord Fields:

Hiya, Matt & Mike & friends!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:17pm Mike Sin:

Nice info on Donnie Sutherland, Aitch. One's creepy lil' dude is another one's renaissance man!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:17pm Mike Sin:

Hey there medson!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:18pm Mike Sin:

Welcome Gaylord!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:18pm Aitch:

Sound Unlimited was the show, just when colour tv came in 1975 for us, big news for us kids
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:18pm Matt Clarke:

Sir Gaylord!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:22pm Mike Sin:

@Aitch -- was always surprised that it took that long for color TV to hit Australia. Whenever I saw clips of of early '70s bands from Aussie TV, I just figured they were b-roll copies or such... Such a difference from the sharp color vid tape of West Germany's "Beat Club"!
Avatar 6:26pm Joe B:

lotta traffic on this number!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:27pm Aitch:

We waited for PAL-D, much better quality res than your NTSC, but also much later.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:28pm Matt Clarke:

Traffic Jam, Joey B!
Avatar 6:28pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Hey great is "Putty In Your Hands"? Didn't discover it was originally done by The Shirelles until many years after hearing Yardbirds do it. Might have even heard Jean & The Statesiders version first!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:28pm Mike Sin:

@Joe B -- I think the story goes that the Hellions toured with Spencer Davis Group and that's how Winwood and Capaldi eventually came together.
Avatar 6:28pm DA the DJ:

Hi fellows!
Avatar 6:29pm Joe B:

I don't think the shirelles' original ever came out as a 45, perhaps that is why
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:29pm Mike Sin:

Hey there DA the DJ!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:30pm Matt Clarke:

Such a great song, that Putty
Avatar 6:31pm Nutley Sam:

Hello folks!
  6:31pm zoelpw:

Hey Matt! Hi Mike!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:32pm Mike Sin:

Hi Nutley Sam!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:34pm Matt Clarke:

Hey Sam! Hey zoelpw!
Avatar 6:34pm Joe B:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:35pm Daisy Lacy:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:36pm Daisy Lacy:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:36pm Frank In Queens:

Supposedly they are on WSOP.
Avatar 6:38pm Joe B:

deserved the all caps!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39pm Frank In Queens:

4 albums from 70-72 for Freedom. In '69 they did the soundtrack to a Dino De Laurentiis film called "Nerosubianco"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:40pm Matt Clarke:

Hey Daisy! Ready to freakout?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:40pm Mike Sin:

@Daisy -- Hello! Yeah, I first heard it way before the internet, so I was just taking a guess at the time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:43pm Daisy Lacy:

@Matt-I was born ready for a freakout, my parents didn't name me daisy lacy for nothin! @Mike-I watched the playlist descend in disbelief
Avatar 6:43pm Nutley Sam:

Have you guys played the "What's Happening?" theme yet?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:44pm Mike Sin:

@ Joe B -- was Jansch with a band or just solo on that gig?
Avatar 6:45pm Joe B:

solo. actually I did see him twice with Neil - first time in 2010 in Worcester Mass. I was able to hear his set. the next year in Philly, crowd was out of hand
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm Mike Sin:

@Frank -- I've only heard one of those '70s Freedom LPs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm Matt Clarke:

We are gettin there, Sam
Avatar 6:47pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

I booked Bert at Bell House with Peggi Young supporting. Neil played with his now ex-wife that night. I really wanted to tell him he should open Farm Aid with "Mr. Farmer" by The Seeds but I chickened out.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:47pm Frank In Queens:

@Mike, the self-titled from '70?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:49pm Mike Sin:

@Frank - Yeah, the one on Probe that got an Angel Air reish.
Avatar 6:50pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Thanks for another great show guys!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51pm Matt Clarke:

Thanks everyone! Stay tuned for Daisy and Todd!
Avatar 6:51pm Joe B:

Jersey City chapter of the Eddie Fontaine fanclub approves
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51pm Mike Sin:

Thanks for listening tonight, folks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55pm Gaylord Fields:

@Joe B: I have a feeling that the Venn diagram of the Jersey City chapter of the Eddie Fontaine fanclub and the Jersey City chapter of the Frank Fontaine fanclub are a perfect circle.
Avatar 10:02pm Glynis GirlGroupGirl:
