The only social media I use is the FMU comments board and Goodreads. I use goodreads to keep track of books that I read because book titles leave my brain the second I finish a book.

The funniest thing that I've realized I like about being off Facebook is the ability to think of people from my past and think "I wonder whatever became of them?" and not having the answer. I was in college when FB started, so I've never experienced adulthood without it.

Oh! We're talking about ditching social media! YES. I love this topic. I got rid of FB over two years ago and I've never regretted it. I invited them to email me, or become my pen-pal (actual letters and postcards!) if they'd like. I gained MANY pen-pals, including at least two WFMU DJs.
