Spent some of my best nights there recording until the wee hours of the morning with artists on the Showplace label. But the highlight was working on a session with Leslie West, Corky Laing, and Jack Bruce's son Malcolm. It was only my third day, talk about star struck!

Taught Corky how to tune drums (he was a true road warrior relic), and Leslie always took the time to chat and share stories. If there's one thing I've learned as my years as an engineer, never be afraid to ask for an autograph or photo before parting ways. Memories are a great thing to have.

I’m glad I have the chance to tell you, When we were decorating the house last Sunday, I put on your Christmas day 2017 playlist with Hoboken Jack, (hello to you too!) Helping to steer the ship through that Christmas Day. It was a really good lesson, so thank you for once again being there for us, when we needed you, three years ago. If anybody out there is feeling like getting seasonal, the WFMU way, I highly recommend checking it out. Great music, not all holiday music, and great conversation between Joe and Hoboken Jack!

But the highlight was working on a session with Leslie West, Corky Laing, and Jack Bruce's son Malcolm. It was only my third day, talk about star struck!

If there's one thing I've learned as my years as an engineer, never be afraid to ask for an autograph or photo before parting ways. Memories are a great thing to have.

Helping to steer the ship through that Christmas Day. It was a really good lesson, so thank you for once again being there for us, when we needed you, three years ago. If anybody out there is feeling like getting seasonal, the WFMU way, I highly recommend checking it out. Great music, not all holiday music, and great conversation between Joe and Hoboken Jack!
