I've concluded the real Concept of Concept Albums primarily is that they were Albums - Long Players. In fact - Explorer's Room here on the Drummer Stream has woke me to how Exotica was long already there. The difference was Pop & Art getting totally jiggy with each other in the 1960s...

Here's a crazy memory. The dog's Official Birthday is Feb. 29, which there was one of back in the barely prelapsarian parts of 2020. On Feb 29, we were in the pinball arcade craft-beer speakeasy through a secret door in a laundromat in our neighborhood (many WFMU DJs know it!) having a birthday party for the dog with like 30 friends and then a totally crowded bar afternoon anyway, with dozens more crammed in the space -- an actual Japanese tour group came in at one point. Hundreds of people over the course of the afternoon.

February 29.
