this is a surprising find
Avatar 3:15am glennfromglendale:

Vangelis reminded me of this gem. youtu.be...
Avatar 3:15am dan in wisconsin:

Sort of like an unmade deleted scene from Blade Runner at Taffey Lewis's joint. I imagine that Vangelis track would've been playing within that smoky night club.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:18am Emily L:

omgg Glenn... genius
  3:23am David in London:

Ever buy a Vangelis album from the Egyptian Taffy?
Avatar 3:24am dan in wisconsin:

"Never heard of im" "Buzz off pal." (:
Avatar 3:29am glennfromglendale:

Lords of synth is the greatest synth nerd comedy film currently in existence
Avatar 3:32am dan in wisconsin:

Ever watched the voice over version of that movie? It's terrible. Really ruins the atmosphere of the Vangelis atmosphere. I guess Harrison intentionally didn't do his best for the voice over in hopes that it wouldn't get into one of the final cuts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37am Stanley:

Ugh, it's Monday morning.
At least your show helps, Emily.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38am Guillermo--:

never heard of Lord of Synth.. will check it put, thanks Glenn. this is a great set (as always)

Good too early this morning, Emily, David in London, Cøca cøelacanth∅, and Stanley. So very tiered but can't sleep, so I thought I'd do this.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:14am David (in London):

'Mi-Chele-With-One-L' fits to the tune of Noel quite well, too.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:23am Emily L:

L (O) L - okay I quit
Avatar 5:24am dan in wisconsin:

Sort of reminds me of Robert Rich's eight hour Somnium, but his track lacked the didgeridoo. I think it was the longest recorded piece of music for a spell, but then Flaming Lips outdid it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:25am YETI BOB:

i accidentally recorded 36 hours of generative analog synth music the other day. 14GB file. Couldn't quite bring myself to delete it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:26am YETI BOB:

I mean, I hit "record" and forgot to press "stop" ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:27am David (in London):

Yeti Bob, as the Oblique Strategy card says, "Honour thy mistake as a hidden intension".
  5:28am kpx:

Count Yeti Bob, so he's a vampire?. here all this time I thought he was an abominable snowman.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:28am YETI BOB:

not a vampire at all
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:30am YETI BOB:

I live in Cook County IL. A while ago I asked, how can you have a county without a count? So I appointed myself as the Count of Cook. But most people don't know about that.
  5:35am johnzo:

Yeti Bob Ill let people know if Cook County comes up in casual conversation... that's Chicago right?
  5:35am kpx:

@Yeti Bob: i c, when you said Cook county, that reminded me of a line from The blues Brothers, when Elwood blues said, or that oatmeal in the Cook county slammer.
Avatar 5:36am dan in wisconsin:

The Momo, the Yeti, the Skunk Ape, the Sasquatch, all seem like a common thread between many parts of the world. I used to be obsessed with Sasquatch. I bet Sasquatch listens to Windham Hill label records, probably some Shadowfax.
  5:37am johnzo:

didn't SM Ken play a bunch of bigfoot songs on his show the other day?... or did I imagine it...
  5:45am kpx:

@David in London: oblique strategy card, I've got to remember that one the next time I make mistake.
  5:47am v-dawg:

I am ready for the day, or at least the morning. I was informed that there was meteor shower and possible northern lights. I only heard the garbage truck.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:49am David (in London):

kpx - That one's dug me out of a hole on more than one occasion.
Avatar 5:50am dan in wisconsin:

The onset of the Age of Aquarius is debatable. However, the Age of Sasquatch is ubiquitous yet elusive.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:53am David (in London):

Dan. As I said to Spodiodi once, we have depressingly few Sasquatch in North London. However, I'm going to use Spring-Heeled Jack as our equivalent.
  5:53am kpx:

@David in London: did you ever see Pee-wee's big adventure, when he wipes out on his bike and then he says to a group of kids, I meant to do that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:55am David (in London):

Te Emily, Thanks for a great show today.
