Hey Mr. Pumpy! Just here under the comforter with the tiny space heater. Not super cold, mid-40s, but it's the curse of high ceilings. How are you? Oh, and I vote taco, based on nothing other than my own gluttony.
mariano, pretty damn good. After a year of madness I finally closed on my home sale and drove away from that place for the last time on Saturday. The closing was Monday, the fucks forgot my check, and I finally got it yesterday. I went straight to the bank. It's a done deal! Finally just living here with pops a nd doing my best to take care of him.
Mariano, whaaaa??? I am amused, curious of the context
Pumpy, taking care of our folks- glad to know you’re in the scene! Been lookin after ma this whole time in arizona
Krull: Glad you're able to be with your mom, that's really sweet. Is it cold there? I heard the desert can get pretty cold at night. Ok, with the "Krull" thing: the dj was interviewing two Canadian guys, they have some sci-fi/fantasy fanzine that's pretty big from what it sounds like. Don't remember the name though. It's one word.
Mr. P: Wow, it's been a year, huh? But yeah, the Accu's become such an oasis in the pandemic, been so good for what sanity I have left. Happy taco hunting!
Krull: A bit chilly, actually. Not bad, mid-40s, but at night in a drafty old house with high ceilings you start to feel it. I'll figure out what that show was for ya ;)
Earlier I searched YouTube for "Mandrison Alphabet of Spring" and this is what I got: www.youtube.com...
So, maybe I'll learn some Mandarin words, why not. A Chinese-American coworker years ago used to leave a sticky note in my cubicle every day with a new Chinese character to learn. Was doing pretty good but then I forgot everything.
@mariano -- yeah high ceilings indeed!
beleive it or not, in all the years i have lived here, never measured mine -- only 9 feet high, but still higher than in the house i grew up in (or maybe they just feel high because i am so freaking short)
hiya, mariano! yeah, was pretty heavy duty for about 24 hours -- and was glad i did not have to go anywhere! not as much snow as i thought we would get (maybe just under a foot?) but the snow is real pretty, air smells so clean!
Good late morning, and finally checking in live. Will have to catch the rest as an archive though. Marcel, did you receive the email I sent you (and others?)
