Non-cat news: Brown marmorated stink bugs are making a run for the indoors lately, and i'm finding and flushing them. So another winter of being a war criminal towards those dumb bugs

	1:18am BH: in my part of the country (the midwest) we've been on a run of generic weather lately, meaning less thunderstorms in summer and no snow yet. So, a slight hindrance for the cause of inspiring people to stay inside.

I guess it'll be interesting to see what sort of urgency swings happen during all of this. Here in Missouri, the average of new cases may have hit the peak a month ago. It has been dropping for most of the last month (aside from Thanksgiving-related reporting quirks), but it still has a ways to go to get to October numbers. MO hasn't done a good job but so far it's been in the background while other states doing worse jobs get the headlines

I guess it'll be interesting to see what sort of urgency swings happen during all of this. Here in Missouri, the average of new cases may have hit the peak a month ago. It has been dropping for most of the last month (aside from Thanksgiving-related reporting quirks), but it still has a ways to go to get to October numbers. MO hasn't done a good job but so far it's been in the background while other states doing worse jobs get the headlines
