But I've now mended the years of accumulated broken mugs and plates, today I'm dying the clothes that need dying, tonight I'm mending the buttons and stuff!

	♥ 4:26pm Heidee: Fox: I hear ya. Good for you! Mh. How to start. Corona has turned me into a hibernating groundhog, I feel soft and cuddly and with lots and lots of precious nuts around me...
	♥ 4:27pm HyperDose: How do you use the tubes? I usually put like cables in freezer bags or tie them with velcro strips. Easier to stack them in rubbermaid bins.
	♥ 4:28pm fred: I've been keeping a diary for decades. Shutdown broke that streak though. There's a limit to how many "nothing, stuck home" entries I can write

	♥ 4:31pm Phillippe Bastille: @Fox so happy you were able to do that. My wife's late mother could not. She lived in a rather large house full of hoarded stuff. 6 bedrooms -- they had built it with the downstairs as a rental unit but she stopped renting it out because she needed a place to store her crap. When she passed, you could only sleep in two of the bedrooms because of all the stuff, and you had to climb over junk to get to one of the beds. It took three full-size dumpsters and about 40 carloads to Goodwill to get it ready to sell, which wasn't for much since it was so neglected.

	4:37pm Fox: Hyperdose: You wind them up, and then can cut a small bit of the tube at the top to hold the end of hte wire, for easy identification. Then you fill a box with the tubes, and they are easy to identify and find!

	4:41pm Fox: Phillippe - My Aunt who lived in the house she grew up in died a few years ago, and the family had to go through everything. It wasn't THAT bad, but it made me realize how much of a pain it is to go through someone's stuff.

	4:49pm Fox: Hyperdose: I'm a second generation WFMUer. My dad listened as a teenager when it was all prog. He and his friends threw a benefit dance for WFMU at their highschool.
	♥ 4:52pm fred: @HyperDose: I'm neither, I only stumbled upon the station less than 20 years ago (I live in France, and found it by reading a TV mag in a dentist's waiting room, even though I never owned a TV. "Bob"'s will). I like T-shirts though, so I prioritized getting those

We bonded over our mutual love of first and third wave ska. Forgive me...I was a simple-minded child with much to learn about life. I'd stay up late and switch over to the fun 91 after the Furious 5 at 9 on K-Rock (RIP)

So, I just have last marathon's bumper sticker, now. Tee-shirts, I get random people asking about them, and then later tune in. (and then the odd woofmooer in the wild).

Now, however, since I'm ADHD and chronically ill, I find life is sooooo much easier the less you own. Honestly, reading that Marie Kondo book was life changing.

She lived in a rather large house full of hoarded stuff. 6 bedrooms -- they had built it with the downstairs as a rental unit but she stopped renting it out because she needed a place to store her crap. When she passed, you could only sleep in two of the bedrooms because of all the stuff, and you had to climb over junk to get to one of the beds. It took three full-size dumpsters and about 40 carloads to Goodwill to get it ready to sell, which wasn't for much since it was so neglected.
