Well, my year really started a little after 2am when a car was set on fire and exploded across the street. By the time firefighters were done with the fire (it was a very loud whine) it was 4am and I didn't really get back to sleep. I don't trust that 2021 much

I heard no ambulance, so I guess nobody got hurt physically. This isn't a rich neighborhood though, so it's going to hurt financially for those who lost their car (and insurance probably won't cover arson on new year's eve)
