In NY I get 12 weeks of leave for certain family events, birth is obviously a life event. so I took 2 weeks of vacation time, and now 2 weeks of leave. I will use more time when Charlotte starts to crawl, walk, ect. Leave is 67% of my pay, and I'll have to still pay my medical, taxes, ect. Atleast I'm using something that I paid into...

Some countries give a year of paternity leave, and 2 years of maternity leave... I'm thankful that we get anything tho. She's the sweetest little thing!
