The making, baking, serving, and singing is very structured, reaching near-religious practice. The same recipe cooked in the same pan with "Happy New Year" poked in the dough with the same nail, all used for the last 100 years or so. They even have their own path through Old Lang Syne, singing the verses out of order. It's like they started their own off-kilter wing of the Freemasons

The making, baking, serving, and singing is very structured, reaching near-religious practice. The same recipe cooked in the same pan with "Happy New Year" poked in the dough with the same nail, all used for the last 100 years or so. They even have their own path through Old Lang Syne, singing the verses out of order. It's like they started their own off-kilter wing of the Freemasons
