Discotech Underground is actually two...two...two shows in one!

The first half is a "Happy Hour" of sorts (because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?), spinning the kinds of sounds you might have heard at a real, authentic 1960's DISCOTECH as cool cats and swingin' chicks danced the night away in their mod threads and mini skirts to hard-driving sounds under the flashing lights! The only thing missing are the cage dancers...but we're working on it!

The second half is for when you head home after a wild night, and ease in with the heady, trippy, mind-expanding sounds of a groovy free-form UNDERGROUND rock radio station that digs deep into their library and blows your mind all over again!

Kip, I've got a cool market to go to on Saturday where a friend of mine who is a metalsmither is going to have her goods there (turquoise and such) and they are going to have camping and outdoors vendors there, cocktails (for drinkers), and BBQ! This will be interesting. Haven't been to a market with those kinds of vendors before, meaning the camping/outdoors. Sunday there's an art deal where they are going to have posters and memorabilia from local TX musicians at a cool venue outdoors.

Dr Mind-Even the Warner Brothers "Purple Passages" is better sounding than some of the Tetragrammaton pressings which in my experience have been a little prone to background noise.

Dr Mind-The Tetras depend on the quality of vinyl used and some of them are decent while others are not so great. The imports on Harvest are always great, though. I have a UK Parlophone of "Shades" that is superior to my ears to the US issue.

Wouldn't be surprised to see "humidifier vs dehumidifier battle" on youtube somewhere. Made sure to get an evaporative humidifier. Apparently the ultrasonic ones work by combusting water into vapor. If you don't use distilled water, the minerals in harder water become carcinogenic when airborne.

Candy-This was a band Steve Peregrine Took had for a while after he left Tyrannosaurus Rex. These tracks were never released back in the day.
