planted 2 bushes I should have planted months ago... spent some time at 2 breweries... Finally got the parts and time to fix the fan for the furnace/AC... hanging out here listening to some soulful tunes with all y'all!

When I was a kid you had to buy fireworks from a guy with missing fingers at a cardtable on the sidewalk outside of a laundromat or hardware store and you had to ask for the good stuff on the qt from under the table like it was hard drugs or weird porn. We didn't have any fancy seasonal pop up stores and that's how we liked it!

I don't remember any fireworks mishaps but I remember a kid sledding in front of a car and a girl taking a golf club to the head that another kid was swinging around. My aunt married a guy who would let those little firecrackers, ladyfingers I think they're called, go off between his thumb and forefinger as a party trick...which says a lot about my origins right there.
