The assimilation is not fair!
the assimilation is exceptionally fair.
Are you upset by how incomplete it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the assimilation so fair?
How happy is the real concern!
Down, down, down into the darkness of the concern,
Gently it goes - the genuine, the actual, the substantial.
Consideration is, in its way, the immediate results of mentation.

Whose corporal is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite sad though.
It really is a tale of woe,
I watch him frown. I cry hello.

He gives his corporal a shake,
And sobs until the tears make.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.

you get a lot of rain recently from that meteorlogical river system they were talking about?
Avatar 12:34am
Blast-Off-Girl:

Ugh..yes...I bought a house and it flooded. Plus, I had to chop down a tree that was leaning against my house. My gate also blew off its hinges. 31 atmospheric rivers.

I had some distant family in Rego Park, but lost contact with them.
Avatar 12:38am

always funny when owl sun reads our conversations on the air.

used to live in rego park, still go to a trader joe's there

yes i get a kick out of it

we used to curse to see if she would say it
Avatar 12:41am
Blast-Off-Girl:

Avatar 12:42am
tom tom the pipers son:

once we got her to say fuckety fuck

yeah sure they're all over now
Avatar 12:43am
Blast-Off-Girl:

people are rarely here anymore....sometimes I see Candy.
Avatar 12:43am
Blast-Off-Girl:

nobody to chat with
Avatar 12:45am
tom tom the pipers son:

yeah , i know, ii check the archives ,i've gone on to other shows for chat
Avatar 12:47am
Blast-Off-Girl:

I try to check out the live shows, but I can't do it while I'm at work.
Avatar 12:48am
Blast-Off-Girl:

some of the shows feel cliquey and I'm not part of the in crowd, so I just stay quiet and listen to the music.
Avatar 12:48am
tom tom the pipers son:

i know about candy, seems she doesn't stay up late
Avatar 12:49am
Blast-Off-Girl:

it's only 9:49 PM here. I know it's past midnight for you.
Avatar 12:50am
Blast-Off-Girl:

it's hard for me to stay up late these days, but tomorrow is my day off. Yay!
Avatar 12:51am
tom tom the pipers son:

yeah some are cliquey and don't let you in but most i find ok
yes 12:50
good for you, would think your job can be stressful
Avatar 12:52am
Blast-Off-Girl:

my job is crazy, but I thrive on chaos.
Avatar 12:52am
Blast-Off-Girl:

what do you do?
Avatar 12:53am
tom tom the pipers son:

something new every day, huh...
Avatar 12:55am
tom tom the pipers son:

i used to be an art handler and ran installations, bu hurt my back, i'm on disability now
Avatar 12:55am
Blast-Off-Girl:

sorry to hear that...sounds like a cool job
Avatar 12:58am
Owl Sun:

Don't worry Blast-Off-Girl
Avatar 12:58am
tom tom the pipers son:

something new every day and did things like hold malcolm x's briefcase in my bare hands and stuff like gutenberg bibles too
Avatar 12:58am
Blast-Off-Girl:

oh wow!!
Avatar 1:02am
tom tom the pipers son:

you're in the san fran area, right, been a while, but i was in the area twice in the late nineties and rented a car and enjoyed myself
Avatar 1:03am
Blast-Off-Girl:

Yep...I'm in a city called Martinez that nobody has ever heard of. San Francisco is a real shit hole these days, to be honest.
Avatar 1:04am
Owl Sun:

Indeed Blast-Off-Girl
Avatar 1:06am
tom tom the pipers son:

oh, because of a lot of homelessness and on the other hand the super rich

had a friend in sebastapol that i visited she moved to penn grove and now i think she's in oregon but we lost touch
Avatar 1:08am
Blast-Off-Girl:

SF is like a ghost town these days. There's poop on the ground, broken glass everywhere because of car breaki-ins, needles everywhere. It's sad.
Avatar 1:15am
tom tom the pipers son:

wow i remember a lot of destitute people in one part of sf, the worst i remember seeing
i also remember seeing a homeless person, all grey and brown with schmutz contrasting with all the brightly painted victorian houses, he was holding a stainless steel coffee container and going into a starbucks
Avatar 1:16am
Blast-Off-Girl:

I'm just more partial to Oakland, which always has a worse reputation.
Avatar 1:18am
tom tom the pipers son:

yeah, oakland seems like an interesting place, but they might be losing their baseball team
Avatar 1:21am
Blast-Off-Girl:

I'm so bummed about that. The Giants are my primary team, but I always enjoyed A's games. The stadium doesn't offer much, but it's just old school. If the A's lose, then they will have no sports teams. They already lost the Warriors and Raiders. It's bad for the morale of Oakland.
Avatar 1:22am
Blast-Off-Girl:

I mean, if Oakland loses the A's
Avatar 1:22am
tom tom the pipers son:

you get to travel in cali much, there's some beautiful scenery if you go north or south

yeah, i see that about identity and morale
Avatar 1:23am
Blast-Off-Girl:

I go on a lot of road trips, but mostly to buy vintage furniture and decor. I go to Los Angeles every couple of months as well.
Avatar 1:24am
Blast-Off-Girl:

but at least you can drive to nearby states on the east coast. I always thought that was interesting.
Avatar 1:26am
tom tom the pipers son:

you do pacific coast highway to los angeles

used to have a car but got rid of it because of no parking
Avatar 1:27am
Blast-Off-Girl:

I haven't driven the coastal route in years. It's lovely, but takes too long. I usually drive the boring 5. But it's only about 5-6 hours.
Avatar 1:27am
Blast-Off-Girl:

L A seems to have a lot more going on than the bay area.
Avatar 1:28am
Owl Sun:

Cheer up Blast-Off-Girl
Avatar 1:29am
tom tom the pipers son:

on the east coast, i would compare only maine in terms of awesome nature to california

i drove most of the way to la down pc1 and then another time inland, people were going over 100 mph
Avatar 1:30am
Blast-Off-Girl:

people are total assholes on that route.
Avatar 1:31am
Blast-Off-Girl:

I'm going back to LA on Memorial Day Weekend and already dreading the drive. I know traffic will suck.
Avatar 1:31am
Blast-Off-Girl:

I can't fly because I need a car to bring my flea market finds back up north.
Avatar 1:34am
tom tom the pipers son:

took a drive up to mendocino which was really beautifull. went t a beach there and the van i was driving got stuck in sand in the parking lot , an old surfer dude pulled me out with his truck... very brotherly
Avatar 1:35am
Blast-Off-Girl:

I've never even been to Mendocino!
Avatar 1:40am
tom tom the pipers son:

travelled a little bit further north and got out of my car on some high ground an could just see treetops for as far as i could see. with the clear light it was almost psychedelic. wonder how it looks now after all the fires
Avatar 1:40am
Blast-Off-Girl:

that sounds so nice!
Avatar 1:41am
tom tom the pipers son:

would think there'd be good flea markets in l.a.
Avatar 1:42am
Blast-Off-Girl:

so much better than the bay area
Avatar 1:44am
tom tom the pipers son:

amoeba records is in san fran as well as l.a., right?
Avatar 1:44am
Blast-Off-Girl:

Yeah, but started in Berkeley
Avatar 1:45am
tom tom the pipers son:

Avatar 1:45am
Owl Sun:

funny owl said arafat. i used to know the number two man in the plo under arafat though my ex- in laws, who had some business dealings with him
Avatar 1:48am
Blast-Off-Girl:

Avatar 1:51am
tom tom the pipers son:

Avatar 1:51am
