That's interesting. I was a senior in high school in 1973. I wrote a book report on the Inuit, and formed my own bold new theories about humans who lived in igloos. It was so controversial and reckless, the teacher made me read it in front of the class. Hollywood DID NOT come calling.

- wish I had grabbed all that I had found in France 🇫🇷 upon a visit (harmonia mundi store ? Seemed to have a lot of them). Even his latter 2000’s period holds up !

That anyone who would claim to be of the anti-authoritarian left would take the name of a group that committed some of the worst authoritarian violence in Europe, pre-20th century, is mind-blowing, to say the least. Perhaps they're not quite so anti-authoritarian?

Also, I'm not at all surprised that Roger Waters would choose to ignore nuance in any political discussion. He's always been a crank, regardless of any anti-Semitism or support of BDS. Whether or not he should be banned or whatever from performing in Germany is a different discussion.

His comments about Ukraine alone are enough for me to just continue to ignore his empty-headed comments.
