Another reference to Candy enjoying "Bop" music. Rembrandt says that he listens too, but only after adding that he's a hipster, and usually keeps up with all the musical "trends." Rembrandt is of a "vague" age - older, certainly - so I'm guessing his music tastes were formed in the 30's.

While the radio adaptation is by George Lefferts - who did a LOT of scripts for X-Minus One. The original story is from the 30's, by Fletcher Pratt.

Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 10:38pm
Austin Rich:

I think the "dark" tone of X-Minus One, and Dimension X, comes from the dark sense of humor of George Lefferts and Ernest Kinoy. They seem to find all sorts of "dark" sci-fi stories for this series, and the ones they write themselves are pretty dark, too. It's great... but... it makes me wonder what their bull-sessions were like? I can only imagine they had some pretty strange ideas.
