If I had been in Dublin, I would have gone to the Paddy Dignam funeral bit up in Glasnevin Cemetery .. free and out doors and all kinds of folks dressed in period outfits ... and one of the best old pubs in Dublin outside the gates = Kavanagh's[aka] The Grave Diggers as it is the place the Gave Diggers have always drank..

Galway is a great town and the peninsula of Connemara is a strikingly different terrain than the So West... Donegal is lovely, but rolling hills not mountains ... problem with Donegal is that- due to the small roads .. it is a trek ... from Dublin and even Shannon..
