once I was on the way to a panel discussion for work and I asked someone on the 2 train to turn down their music. he looked at me and said "what?" so i pointed to the "no boomboxes" image behind him. he got all up in my face (very close) and started yelling at me, threatening to beat the shit out of me. right then almost everyone got off the car (it was rush hour and the train was far north) so I was shitting bricks and went to the other end of the car. he followed me and I thought I was a goner. just then a woman on the other end of the train started yelling at him,"what the hell are you doing, stop that shit!" and I had just enough time to run out of the train at the next stop. if it wasnt for her I woulda had to show up all pulpy at the meeting
